I live in Sonora, Ca. and am looking for a place to get my TDX SP chair fixed. It need some new leg rest that don't kill my legs 5 mins after I set down. Something on the back of my chair is broken where it attaches to my back plate. and a few more things. I tried a place in Modesto, CA and they stink!!! Over charged me, asked for the money upfront before my inc. had a chance to make good on it, and then it took them 6 full months to refund my money that was over the copay I have to pay with my blue cross inc. Please tell me a place I can get some work done, my chair cost over $6,000 and It has served me will, but I need to take care of it.

SOURCE: INVACARE STORM TDX DROVE OFF OF CURB LOST POWER

Sounds like your battery or batteries became disconnected. Remove the 3 screws holding the rear electronics cover on the chair. Check all the controller connections and specifically the 2 pin plug into the batteries in the battery box. Remove the screws and pull the front battery box cover off. Slide out the battery tray after removing the retaining screws on the bottom sides at the front. Check the batteries for loose or damaged connections and tighten.
If you cut or broke wires at the rear or bottom of the controller you can do a temporary repair and order new parts. You should be able to get the chair to power up if the power path connections are good. If it powers up after a check of the battery connections and power connection to the controller and you still have a fault code, I can help you further. Hope this helps you for now.

I have the tdx sp and the wrench light is flashing 7 times what does this mean?

There is a problem with the remote joystick. Could be a bad connection or bad harness to the remote joystick. If harness is fine then the joystick has issues and needs to be replaced or rebuilt.
Try the 4-wire harness first.

Stability locking kit

The M51 does not have a stability locking kit. The Invacare TDX SP has a gas strut stability locking kit that just had an extensive recall campaign associated with it. Please describe your issue in greater detail.
