You just have to unlock your phone totally and permanently from other networks so you switch to Verizon network. You can do this by purchasing the SPRINT BLACKBERRY CURVE 8530 unlock codes from a SPRINT BLACKBERRY unlock code provider. This way, your phone will be 100% SIM lock free..

Go to the Spint support forum to reset your phone. This will take the phone to the manufactures settings and will erase all user data. You may be able to get help from Sprint Customer Service.

You need to configure your CS 1000 for Personal Directory / Redial List / Callers List through Element Manager. Instructions for doing this are in the IP Line Fundamentals NTP. You can download the NTP from www.nortel.com/support.

It depends on what system it connected to. On my BCM450 voicemail must be set up by that individual to see their name in the directory.
