Samsung CLX-6220-FX vertical lines when scanning and copying

The reason for such lines if they appear only on scans/copies from the automatic document feeder (adf), but not on regular scans and printouts is that there is dirt on the small glass stripe next to the scanner area that is used for scanning from the adf. Just clean that glass stripe and the lines should go away.

Black stripes on fax printout

Do you have the stripes on all faxes coming in, regardless of the origin, or from just one place? If just one place, then the problem is that they have some dirt on their scanning glass. If from your machine, then check the photoconductor (if yours is a laser fax) or the printhead (if a thermal fax).

Maybe an obvious answer, but have you cleaned the print heads several times? You can also remove the cartridges, remove the entire print head and clean it with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip.

Stripes on printout MD5000P

This happens alot, iteithermeans your inks running low, your inks too new, or its a low quality printer.
My suggestion would be to check your ink level, and if its fine, print out a few pages, then see if it helps.
