Weight Display It's very difficult to read the display. It's like there are missing "pixels?" in the digits so you can't be sure what digit is displaying. Is this a fixable problem or is it time for a new scale?

On the temperature display the second symbol is permananently missing eg 20.0 is shown 2 .0 how do you fix it?

Display figures when lost generally can not be reallocated as the digital format has been compromised. The nonfunctional pixels are bypassed and only functional display is active and observable. The entire display needs to be replaced or live with what is available.

The trip meter and odometer digital numbers are not being displayed as complete numbers

This is caused by the display unit slowly failing and it is a common problem on Opel & Vauxhall cars. The internal circuit board is fed by a flat ribbon cable with many tiny connections. Heat, vibration and age will often cause one or two of these connections to fail, which results in dead pixels on your screen. The best solution is to buy a new display unit, although if you research using Google you may find somebody who offers a repair service.

The numbers on the digital readout are partly

If the display is showing "partial digits" on the display, it means a scale is excessively shaken (sometimes during shipping) it's possible for the LCD to become partially separated from the PCB (Printed Circuit Board). On many models you can gently press on the LCD and it will reconnect. However on many scales it's difficult to reach the LCD (without removing the cover) and thus the scale will often have to be returned to the manufacturer for repair. Contact them at 1-800-326-6247 for the Conair appliance customer service center.

7928390.jpgHi this is the DMD mirror (digital mirror display) that is missing the pixels on your picture. It is a difficult job if you have never changed one before. It is located in the DMD board that is attached to the light engine. You must take the DMD board off and then take it apart to get to the mirror. Take the mirror out of the bracket it is in and then replace it and put everything back together again correctly for it to work again. I would recommend a tech to do this.

How was EVF improved?

This camera is equipped with the TFT micro display which has about four times the resolving power (number of pixels) of past models. As a useful mode, it has "Quality mode" of 640x480 pixels (30fps) and "Motion mode" of 640x480 pixels (60fps). Quality mode: The high resolving power is the most important. The detail parts can be recognized, and it is helpful when the focus is checked. Difficult focusing on the past models can be easy without enlarging. Motion mode: It is for recording the moving subject. The same number of resolving power is displayed as the quality mode. However, as the pixels are interpolated from 640x240 to 640x480 in Motion mode, the image in the Quality mode looks better.
