If the display is showing "partial digits" on the display, it means a scale is excessively shaken (sometimes during shipping) it's possible for the LCD to become partially separated from the PCB (Printed Circuit Board). Hi this is the DMD mirror (digital mirror display) that is missing the pixels on your picture. It is a difficult job if you have never changed one before. It is located in the DMD board that is attached to the light engine. You must take the DMD board off and then take it apart to get to the mirror. Take the mirror out of the bracket it is in and then replace it and put everything back together again correctly for it to work again. I would recommend a tech to do this.
