Bosch WFR 2460 washer - Drum does not move during wash/spin cycles

Hello,
The drum does not move during the wash/spin cycles. No error messages appear on the display other than the usual wash program messages (like washing, spinning, fluffing). I have removed the back cover and the belt is on properly. When I select the spin cycle, it doesn't appear that the motor is even attempting to start. Thanks for any information you can give.

Possibly the motor brushes.
take back panel off and motor is held in by bolts which undo - also disconnect electrical plug and socket.

Drum won't move

take the back panel off make sure power is off and check if the belt has come off or broken and also check the pulley that spins belt is tight and if all that is ok then it sounds like the motor might need to be looked at

Bosch wfr2460

The 03 error code is the drain. Disconnect the drain hoses and check for blockages. If no blockage "time" the drain interval. If it's more than 6 minutes it's the pump. Also make sure you're using the correct type of soap so the ball check valve on the bottom of the outer drum isn't getting fouled with excessive suds. Also disconnect the drain hose from your house plumbing and let it free flow on it's own. This will tell you if the block is in your plumbing, and not in the machine. Assuming that your filter is clean.

Bosch wfk2801 washing machine drum does not rotate

Remove rear panel and check the belt is o/k, if it is, then remove belt, undo 2 bolts that hold motor, unplug the motor connector, lever motor back with a screwdriver, and remove motor.
Check the brushes, they should be at least 5mm long, \any shorter, then replace.
Plz rate my solution.
TRhanks.

Washing machine won't spin or rotate

Sounds like the motor brushes need replacing, you will have to remove the motor to do this.
Hope this helps.

WFR 2460 Front loader

We went through the whole "clean the soap dispenser" deal and results were the same. Exploratory surgery revealed that the Prewash hose (for lack of better term), which connects from the top of the drum housing to the right side of the dispenser drawer (facing the machine)was completely clogged with gunk. Especially strange since we don't prewash hardly anything, ever. The hose that connects the bottom of the detergent dispenser with the side of the drum housing did have a lot of buildup, but I do not believe it was the cause because this was only happening on the rinse cycle. I also found the flow meter was frozen up.
