Frustrating typing problem... touchpad sensitive and cursor keeps moving around in middle of typing..help!!! this is awful and delays working
SOURCE: hello, my samsung n150plus's cursor
I had the same problem and discovered that when I was typing my thumbs where touching the touch pad and that was causing the problem. I now type with my thumbs up and not touching the pad. I hope this helps.

When you type, your thumbs have a tendency of touching the touchpad, those touches are probably treated as "taps" and consequently, the cursor gets repositioned and all of a sudden, you find yourself typing on a different line. It's incredibly annoying.
See if you can go into your computer's Control Panel. Go to Mouse and look for something that allows you to adjust your touchpad's tap sensitivity - you want to make it less sensitive (i.e. something that takes a real tap to register as a tap, cause right now, any glancing blow, or touch, is treated as a tap).
That oughta do it.

You can try to use external/wireless keyboards, or change your sitting posture.
