SOURCE: amana dryer ple330RAW

look for something stuck in the impeller (blower fan) that would cause the motor to hum and not run. If nothing is stuck your motor may be shot.

SOURCE: Dryer won't run

Its time to call the repairman. If its the motor humming its either bad or the dryer is froze up and unable to turn causing the motor to hum. Eventually it will trip the breaker.

SOURCE: thermal fuse keeps blowing

they will blow if the heat dont get out of the dryer and builds up inside / check and see if vent hose behind dryer is kinked or vent going outside is open / it will be one of those two.

SOURCE: When I push the timer button to start the dryer it

verify connections on motor. sounds like the start relay has gone out on the motor. if it was your push to start button it wouldn't make any noise.

Just stopped working. No burning smell. When start button pushed, some kind of tiny "click" sound heard around the timer.

The click is most likely the timer motor moving the dial on the timer. The motor circuit on American dryers is 120 volts whilst the heater requires 240 volts to operate its 5k element. The motor circuit always has the fuse in it. The heating element has limits mounted on it but they only kill power to the element and not the motor. Fuses are usually located on the blower housing next to the control thermostat. MORE HERE

The dryer is not heating up and the dial stops at the cool down so the dryer will not shut off by it self. Its a kenmore 70 series dryer.

you need to send the model number, open the door and look around the opening where you put the clothes into the dryer and you'll see the tag with the model number.it will start with 110. or 417.because you have no heat that's why the timer won't advance, when the heat shuts down then the timer advances when the heat comes back on the timer stops moving or advancing,no heat the timer won't move.send the model number

My Maytag Atlantis Intellidry Dryer won't start unless I move it around

If you have to move the whole machine then I would say you have a bad wire somewhere. If you have to move the timer around then you have a bad timer.

Pushing the button on kenmore seies 700 dryer and nothing happens

if your moving it around and it starts it sounds like a loose wire somewhere.i'd unplug it,look in the back and check the plug wires, they might have been pulled off or loosened in the move, there's a metal cover in the back, take out the 1/4 inch screw, remove the cover and you'll see the plug wires.if that's not it check the timer harness inside the console but it definetly sounds like a wire gotloosened in the move

I have an Amana model NDG7800AW. A few weeks ago

The roller to the belt tensioner is binding causing to make the warbling noise. The bearing needs to be replaced which comes with the roller. A new belt is advisable as well when replacing. The stalling problem could be also from the belt being stretched or the timer relay is weak

Dryer keeps running and timer continues to move around dial.

Change your timer. It has a malfunction in it. it's about a 100 dollar fix. Also your start switch may be bad.
