You don't need to install your camera.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Can't install windows on FSB 800 motherboard its showing no hard disk installed in your computer but showing in the bios kindly help

If you are installing XP on a SATA hard drive then -

The problem is that XP installation CD does not have a SATA driver, unless you have a SATA drive on a disk etc. and can install the driver when XP asks for a hard drive driver then, XP cannot detect the hard disk and therefore won't install XP. The FIX. Go into the BIOS and disable the SATA drive (enable IDE emulation), this will make XP think it is a IDE/PATA hard disk. Then you can install XP normally. When Windows has been installed then install all the device drivers (including the SATA driver), then shut down and boot up and got into the BIOS and enable the SATA drive.

Drivers for PDC 2070 camera

http://download.driverguide.com/driver/Polaroid+PDC+2070+Video+Camera+Device/Polaroid/d131494.html

These drivers are for Windows 98SE, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows 2003 only. They MAY work for Windows 7.

Versions 2.1.9.9 (2002-10-21) 2.0.0.0 (2002-07-31) 1.0.3.7 (2002-07-25)s Uploader Notes Posted these drivers here due to the support (or lack of!!) that polaroid give on their web site, these drivers enable you to sync the digital cam with Windows 98, 98se, me, and 2000, although they have come straight of the installation cd, i have been unable to test them. Any probs though give me a buzz, [email protected] Uploaded By Colin Masters (DG Member) on 1/5/2004 Driver Package pdc2070drivers.zip (385.0 KB)

Polaroid camera not windows nt compatible

Starting from the start plug in the device and XP will detect and look for new drivers a search for drivers is usually done in the inf directory under windows or winnt directory If a driver is not found the computer pops up a question did a Cd or software come with this device if you install the software the a reboot is usally needed if you do not do a reboot you can try once the drivers have been installed unplug the device and plug it back in again the computer will search for the new drivers that are installed and should set up the device to work If it does not work you will need to get driver for the device that will work with XP I have a scanner than need XP drivers but will work on one of the older computers but not XP

My USB Devices isn't "talking" to my Window XP, what is wrong?

afaik, polaroid did not provide drivers beyond windows 98. I think you may need to upgrade your printer too. I expect the modern printers are far better, in any case.

ERROR: code 28 -- Windows XP & USB 2.0

This message appears because Windows XP did not originally support the USB 2.0 specification. However, as of May 2002, the final release version of the Microsoft USB 2.0 drivers for Windows XP is available at the Windows Update Site. The driver is designated Microsoft USB Driver Version 5.1.2600.0.

ERROR: code 28 -- Windows XP & USB 2.0

I'm unable to connect my western digital hard drive to my Windows XP computer via the USB port. When I check the USB 2.0 Controller in the Device Manager, there is a yellow exclamation mark (!) next to it. When I check on the status of the USB 2.0 Controller, the following message appears:

The drivers for this device are not installed (code 28).

What do I do now?
