I received an email from HTC saying I could update my p3300 to windows mobile 6 so I went to the website and found the page but when I enter the serial number of my machine it says its not suitable for an update. My partners P3300 machine updated no problem. The only thing I can see is that the operating system I am trying to load is the same as is already loaded and so it won't do it but I'm still on windows 5. How do I upgrade my version of windows mobile?

the first flash is tricky but once you have flashed for the first time it will be ok..

i rang customer services - its somewere in the regestry, i dont know where but you can access the regestry with total commander

this is the problem usually caused by viruswhich happens when you are receiving files from p.c or untrusted mobiles...... and sometimes it might be software failure also, which causes some of the menu not tofunction,the only solution is to flash ur phone software from the nearest htc care,it also updates your mobile software which increases the mobile speed....
