My jvc home stereo witch plays dvds just locked its self one day and i want to know how to unlock it
On the unit, press the stop button and the cd eject button at the same time. The screen will say locked still. Release them and press them together again at the same time. The screen will now read unlocked. You can then eject the cd.
JVC DVD players include a safety feature called TRAY LOCK. It may be helpful to prevent tray being open by small children for example. To lock/unlock the disc tray please refer to instruction manual.
