Segate FreeAgent 750GB external hard drive

When I power up the USB 2.0 hard drive, my older 400GB Segate External USB hard drive is no longer recognized. Regardless of what order I plug them in and turn them on, the 400 GB drive will either not be recognized or will be removed. If I reboot the system with both plugged in, only the new 750 GB drive will be recognized.

Segate 1.5 tb external hard drive buzzing noise and wont connect

Connect it to a different computer. If it still is not detected, then there is a hardware problem. Exercise the warranty to get it repaired/replaced.
