Toshibba laptop a135-s2276 ,my mother bords smd chip does not work so display of screen does not appear

The problem is well known witht this model Toshiba - the problem is the fan stops working and then hence shuts down to prevent overheating - it does not take long once the laptop is hot. Without replacing the fan just reboot the laptop until you hear the fan start again on reboot.

Are you sure it is the ?SMD? chip? I think you are referring to the ATI Radeon XPress 200M IGP video/graphics card? If you look at the screen, does the screen aoppear faintly? This is a known problem with this laptop, and having a similar model, and the exact same problem, I can tell you that this is a problem with the LCD FL Inverter, which is a board located at the base of the LCD screen that handles backlighting for the LCD.
