I have a fisher Paykel IW709AU wahing machine, it does not drain the water after the washing cycle ends, but a buzzing sound starts from the water pump for about 30 seconds and the power cuts out. the water pump was wired independently and it works without any problem , all hoses are clear , what could be the problem?

If you wired the pump directly with a lead and 230V supply and it works ok, then doesn't work when powered by the control board, I would say that there is a problem with the control board not supplying a full 230V to the pump.

you probably have a foreign object in the pump impellor - the favourite is bits of bra wire

SOURCE: Washing machine not draining and finishing cycle

I had the same problem.... It would stop on the rinse cycle and beep.  Check to make sure you can hear the water pump running or if you can just hear an electrical hum and then it quits, it may be a problem with the water pump. The water pump can be accessed by removing the tub, reach down the center of the agitator and remove plastic bolt, remove the stailess steel tub and then remove the plastic oval shaped cover at the bottom of the main tub to access the pump impellor.  Make sure the impellor turns freely, if it does not you may have a problem with the pump motor.  We had a gold chain go missing and it showed up wrapped around the pump shaft causing it to bind at times.  It took me two tries to fix it but now it runs 100%.

SOURCE: Fisher Paykel dryer

buzzing sound generally come from the motor assy, not necessarily a bad motor however. try opening the front door and along the inside of the top of opening is 2 phillips screws the top will tip back and then removing 2 5/16 screws from inside the font panel will remove giving you access to the motor blower assy.. it is possible that something( baby sock, small undergarment) has fallen inti the blower preventing free spin also resulting in a buzzing noise, if so simply remove debris and reassemble.

It won't spin until all the water is drained out. The drain pump may be blocked or faulty. Fix the drain pump fault first then deal with the filling issue. They will not be related.

What is error code 136 on a fisher & paykel IW709AU top load washer

136 fault is 'motor stall'...Quite often this is a broken wire to the motor. However it could also be a Motor fault, or Rotary Position Sensor problem. Water damage can cause this fault as well. After a visual check for broken wires or water damage, and if your machine is in good condition, you should consider a tech....Good luck...Nomess

Machine will not spin or drain water.

I have a problem with my MW512AU. Sometimes it drains after wash cycle, but sometimes it sticks when it goes to spin, doesn't get up to speed, water comes on for about 10 seconds and shuts off, and it tries to spin again. If I hit the wash progress switch it goes directly to final spin and works ok. I then have to run a 2nd wash cycle to rinse the clothes. I also noticed a buzzing sound when I turn on the power point, which lasts about 3 seconds before stopping. It will come back on every 3-4 minutes for 30 seconds. This is with the machine power switch off. It powers on normally.

Washing machine makes buzzing noise

Check the water pump for an obstruction in the chamber area, your pump may be sticking and that will cause the buzzing sound. The water pump runs during the fill portion of the cycle on several of the selected wash cycles to recirculate the water.
