HP Color LaserJet CP 2025dn error code 59.70

I just installed a new cyan toner cartridge and after initializing I am getting in the printer display "59.70 Error Turn off then on" which I have done now 3 times, but the same error code comes back. Any advice would be appreciated.

We had a persistant Error 59.70 with an HP m452DN printer, which kept up after power cycling the device. Since it's an error with the black toner developer motor, I pulled the black toner, powered up the printer, and manually checked the drum on the toner for seizure. Rotated the drum by the knob on the side to free it up, and then reinserted and printed a cleaning page. Printer works fine now.

59.XX this error is related to the fuser possibly a bad cartridge I have seen cartridges with the rollers seized & can't turn which will create different error codes

my personal opinion is that you might have two basicproblems

1.open the lid from back of your printer, you may see a stiff film .,give aprint command and check the film rolling visually , if its broken then it mightgive you annoying sound like something's broken , but it can only be visualizedgiving a print command ,
if its really broken from edges it may give you this problem, it can be fixedby local service center ,I had this problem it cost me about 2.(clean your printer ) >Open printer >remove the toner > check for any piece of stapler pins or any paper or anyother waste that's stuck in between drums. > if you have a wind blower machine blower it . > must keep in mind to blower it in open area, causeblack particalls will make you cough, or would get dusty, 3. your toner must have ink dust at one side, shake thetoner and then insert in printer , this will help you . No.

Very few printers will print if they're out of toner, even if the colour toner is exhausted and the print job is only black. Replace the empty toner and if this is the only problem, the printer will continue printing.

sounds to me like the cyan toner cartridge is defective, if you still have the old one, put it back in and see if the lines disappear. Get Paid

I have a HP Color LaserJet CP3505n and just replaced the Cyan toner . . . but whenever I print out anyting, there is no blue color on the right hand side. I did buy the toner last year in a package deal...


I don't like saying call the manufacturer, but in this case....
HP has an "out of the box" warranty when it comes to toners.
If you bought the toner 6 years ago, but took it out of the box 2 weeks ago, your warranty started 2 weeks ago.
Call 1-800-HP-Invent and they will of course want to troubleshoot with you, but it won't cost anything if you explain that you just installed the toner, it's new, and you are having this issue.
They should treat it as "accessory under warranty".
They'll either stumble upon what the defect in their cartridge was, or in all likelyhood they will simply replace it.

The error 10.10.01 is telling you that the cyan toner cartridge is missing the cartridge memory tag.
Replace the cyan toner.

HP Laserjet 5550dtn printer is giving error 59.51, what will be the problem?


This code means there is a Cyan Cartridge motor error. The most common cause of this error is the Cyan Toner/Drum cartridge is binding up and causing the motor to stop turning. I would try removing then re-installing the Cyan cartridge first and see if it goes away. If not then replace the Cyan cartridge with a new cartridge. If the problem persists then there is a problem with the drive assembly for the Cyan cartridge.

Even thought the cartridge clicked in normally, there is a problem with it. If you still have the old one, put it back in, if the error clears, you know the new toner is no good. If the flap doesn't lift or is binding it will stop the carousel from spinning, a 54.00.02 is a cyan toner error. If you have another toner you can try that also. I know they aren't cheap, but a lot of refurbished toners can do this out of the box.

Hp color laserjet 3550 - error message "cartridges not engaged"


here are the codes for the error you are getting

10.92.00 Black toner
10.92.01 Cyan
10.92.02 Magenta
10.92.03 Yellow

The fix is either the toner lock is broken. Contacts on the left side of printer are damaged.

There is a complete proceedure for replacing the the toner locks which comes in a kit you can order from precisionroller.com. this takes about an hour.

If the contacts are damaged you will have to replace the whole plastic part on the left side behind all of the electronics. It takes about an hour

Hi, i have the same printer and regularly get this problem. Open the top cover and rotate the cartrige that is on top slightly backwards towards the back of the printer. Once you turn the printer on again this usually solves the problem
