Mitsubishi WS-55909 dm board repair

Green light comes on for about 3 seconds then I hear a click from the back of the TV. No picture or sound. I've used the reset button, green light blinks for about 1 minute then goes off. Owners manual says to turn on set after light goes out but set will not come on.
I havent been able to locate your posting on fixya about how to locate and repair dm board.
Thank you

I have the same problem. After a lightening storm last week where the power cycled off and back on 4 or 5 times in about a 20 second time period this happened. Any help that anyone can offer outside of calling a technician?

I have a mitsubishi ws55613 that I recently had repaired for the the DM board constant green blinking light. The TV now stays on, but now I have two additional problems. First, I cannot turn the TV on or off using the remote. Second, I now am losing the picture every few minutes for 5 seconds or so. The screen goes blank and then comes back on. The amount of time between the picture switching on and off varies as well. Please let me know what you think and whether this problem is associated with the repair of the DM Board green light problem. Thanks in advance for your responses.

I have a mitsubishi 48" integrated 1080. The Timer green light keeps blinking. I have no picture. Can this be the fuse? My coworkers say this might be the problem. Can I replace it myself? If so, where is it located?

I had the carpet replaced in my home and the tv was unplugged for a short time , when I plugged it back in the timer light is blinking green. It will not power on, it just blinks green.

Thats caused by weak DM capacitors. They discharge when the set is unplugged even briefly then they cant recharge after getting power restored. You can get the Mitsubishi DM repair kit for your model at www.tvrepairworld.com which contains the caps and the CD with repair instructions.

Unplug tv for 1 week for vacation plug tv in &green light doesnt stop flashing.never had problems ever.

Thats a common problem caused by failed capacitors on the DM board. Usually after unplugging the set the capacitors drain down then when you plug it back in the Caps wont charge and you will get the constant blinking light. You can get the DM repair kit for your model at www.tvrepairworld.com under the mitsubishi repair kit catagory. The kit contains the Capacitors and the CD with instructions for the repair.

Mitsubishi ws-55613 green light blings rapidly and TV will not come on.

The DM module has bad capacitors in it and these will need to be replaced, or the DM module replaced.(about 85% of the time, the caps WILL fix them though...) A good shop should be able to rebulid your module for about 300-400 in the home.

Mitsubishi tv model ws-65315, when i turn the set on, the green light comes on for a second then the set turns off what could it be

Check the voltages at the test points on the power supply. If the voltages are correct and all the fuses are fine, check for swolen capacitors on the format and the DM boards and replace them

Mitsubishi WS-55909 dm board repair

The DM is fine if the led isnt blinking. Your set is going into protective shutdown. Try pressing the menu and the device/input buttons on the set both in together for 5 seconds to see if the set will blink a series of blinks pause then blink another series of blinks. Such as 2 blinks pause then 2 blinks, Then let me know what the blinks were and I will assist you with whats wrong
