SOURCE: Epson Stylus CX400 USB Connection

Look at the Back of the machine and it is on the RIGHT side (as you look from the rear)of the back panel a couple of inches below the scanner unit. The image below is very small, I know but give an indication of whereabouts the USB connector is located.

Did you use Epson Genuine Cartridges?

ALL…. Epson & Brother Requires Genuine Epson Cartridges. !!!!!!!!
That sounds like your problem.

In Purchasing Epson's CX 5400, CX4600, & CX7400 and more, I found out that Epson does not like Generic Printer Cartridges. I also Purchased a Brother. That also does not like Generic Print Cartridges. Color that should be Yellow, will turn out Green, Blue Brown, etc. These printers have a CHIP that will detect if it is Generic or Genuine. When they see it’s Generic Cartridges, it will print lines thru the words, stripes across the picture and also do a mix match with the colors.

That's what these Companies do., so they can keep selling the ink cartridges. Some Printers, are able to use Generic, and some are refillable. Some you can refill them up yourself and I heard, quite MESSY.

So I learned, thru trial and error, that you must use the ORIGINAL Genuine Cartridges for these PRINTERS. Some people say some models work fine compatible, but not mine.......

I had to replace the printer, but Epson, Lexmark & Brothers are always on sale. My Brother & Epson cost me $50.00 with Rebate. Don’t waste too much ink in cleaning it.

This is the only advice I can give you. If you find this helpful, pls rate me.

Thanks and Good Luck :0)

Epson Stylus Pro 4900 Printer. How can I connect to Wi-Fi?

Question edited for clarity and add name of Maker.
Question moved to correct category.

Connectivity specs. Not really cordless wifi, you are connecting to the router or office network using a network cable. There would be ways around it using a powered wifi access point hub to the printer and use that to wirelessly connect to the router, but probably not cost effective. It would give you the ability to print from the Epson smartphone app.

Epson stylus sx215 wirless or not

The Epson Stylus SX215 is not a wireless printer so you will need a USB cable to connect to your printer and print.
If you want to be able to use the printer wirelessly you have a few options:
  1. Check your internet router (assuming it is wireless) to see if it will support and share your printer (Check for compatibility with your printer).
  2. Look for a replacement router that will share and support your printer (Again, do your research before you buy!)
  3. Consider replacing your printer. Most new models are wireless and very similar to the SX215. The down side is that cartridge volume is much smaller on many of the budget models like the XP205 or SX235W.
Hope that helps.

Can the Epson CX6000 printer be connected wirelessly? Epson says no!

By itself the answer is NO. You would need to add a print server to your wireless router. They are not that expensive. See these links.
http://forums.techguy.org/networking/572205-how-connect-usb-printer-wireless.html and
http://www.wirelessforums.org/alt-internet-wireless/how-connect-usb-printer-linksys-wireless-router-2483.html
Then decide if it is worthwhile.

Please return and give me a favorable rating if this helped.
