WIERD! k,i got this new computer when i hooked my sansa c150 to it it couldnt see any of the songs i downloaded on my old computer,just the songs which came with it(cause it was a gift)i tried reinstalling the driver and using wmp to view files,no use and then i deleted music folder by accident now the songs which came with mp3 player r gone and the songs i installed from old computer r still on mp3 but i cant see them on computer,now i got one folder which is recroding and WMP info file,help!

Adriva, Why stay away from the m240 series? Just curious. However, I am in 100% agreement with you. I own 3 Sansa's because at the time I couldn't afford anything better. Out of the three only the original, a SDMX1 - 512 R, still works correctly. My main complaint about the SDMX1 is the amount of time it taks to FFW or RWD. It may be ok for a 3 minute song, but I listen to a lot of audio books and you can just about forget trying to find your place. You try to FFW and it takes FOREVER to advance just a few minutes. Then, because of the way the controls are set up you wind up jumping 10 tracks ahead. Why do I have to keep FFW or RWDing? Well the SDMX1 can never seem to remember where it was when I turned it off. Now this is hard enought to do when you are sitting and listening to it, but you can forget about doing it while driving. The next two Sansa I got ( thinking they would be better) were the m240s. I got one for me and one for my son. Mine died with in 6 months. Will not do anything. New battery makes no difference. So I took my sons after he complined about it not working. The problem with his is that when it is turned OFF, it drains the battery ( A BRAND NEW BATTERY) in about 5 minutes. You can listen to it for hours but turn it off and leave the battery in and it is dead within minutes. Also I was able to listen to my older SDMX1 (512m) for about 16 hours with a new battery, I get nothing like that with my m240. Now my m240 will not let me put new books on it. It keeps saying it is full. I tried using it like a HD and put some books on there. Then when I turned it on, the books didn't show. So I set it to be a music device and put some on and had no better luck. I couldn't remove the books, couldn't copy new stuff on. I heard there was a way to do a HARD reset....like holding down a button combo and turning it on. Has anyone heard of this? Can anyone suggest a solution to my problems (Short of an ipod?) I got the sansa because they are cheap and I got what I paid for. I've just had a sandisk thumbdrive go bad. I think I've made my last Sandisk purchase ever. Can anyone suggest an MP3 player for between $70-$100 with 1-2 gigs of space? Thanks Modgod

You should format the device thru My Computer>Device Name (c250)>Right Click and select FORMAT.

I just bought a Sansa e250. We are members of MP3 Rocket. How do I download songs from MP3 Rocket onto my Sansa e250? I'm not puter smart, so please tell me in the simplest way in order for me to know what you're talking about. Be gentle!

ok, look turn your device on and select settings, next you want to find usb mode (wording may vary). select this option and change this setting to msc, i have a 2 gig clip and this seemed to work......if this doesnt work try the mpt setting under the same "usb mode" option.....also when putting songs on your device, make sure the files are in wma format(windows media audio) to do this , see the songs properties, ussually done with a right click on the songs shorcut or logo.....if the file is in mp3 format, open the song in windows media player and open the library tab, highlight what you want to put on your device right click and select send to .....then select audio converter, convert the files then send them to your clip.
