Hello!
there is a standard procedure for proper replacement of blown fuse: CRT TVs: unplug degaussing coil, replace blown fuse with 2amp fuse and turn on the set. If it works, reconnect degaussing coil, replace the fuse with correct value(5-8) amp, depends on model(see fuse note next to holder). Enjoy the show! If in a process of replacing the blown fuse with 2amp w/o degaussing coil it blows again, forget about the next step. Set need repair. It could be an easy one, replacing 1 or 2 shorted diodes or bridge rectifier, but could be real piece of work if the power supply got "fried". If your knowledge won't go further, than fuse replacement, I'd recommend local TV repair shop.
good luck,
Alex.

I have a Sony ta-ax335 fuse blown replace and now no sound

Most likely, you have DC Offset, meaning a blown amplifier. If you're interested in repairing your Sony, please visit my website, audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me there. Thank you.

Sony receiver does not turn on

Does the relay click when you press the power button? If so, then the main power fuse is probably blown or the power transformer is bad. If the fuse is blown, then there is a short in the amp that needs to be repaired before the unit can be used.

Blown sony reciever fuses

Fuses in Sony receivers usually only blow if the output transistors on one channel have shorted out. These transistors will need to be replaced, or the unit will just keep blowing the fuses.

WHEN TO TURN SONY STR-DE635 ON AND NO AUDIO OUPUT

Maybe the Preamp driver IC, looks like a car audio ic on the main board.
Often with age the heat generated by the ic will destroy the solder.Makes it look like lava rock in bar-b-que grill. Which
causes an open circuit in the preamp driver to the audio power
stage.
Simply resolder them, most often restores audio. Should have
a bottom removalble cover.
If not, a fuse normally blows if ic or channel is shorted. Check if
display will say Power off, Protect, etc. That means there is a problem with a channel.
Most Sony receivers use darlington transistors, they short easily !!
I am an old school component level service tech, I think I do have a schematic for this model and many others.

No power

Your power board has blown. Possibly the fuse has blown. Check inside for broken fuse. If fuse is fine, then fuseable resistors are blown. If u have no idea what im talkin about, then send your player to local tech store for repair.

I put a working LCD sceen in a sony S600. He

There is a fuse for the LCD backlight only - if it's blown, you should see something on the display if you look closely as there will be no backlight. If you need help locating the fuse, e-mail me at [email protected]

No power

Probably blown fuse on the power board. If you hear a "pop" sound, you have blown couple of fuse along with some other components. When a small fuse blows you cannot hear any sound. Camera needs a new power board and repair cost may run from $175-275 depending on damaged parts.

Sony DSC-P100 Won't Power Up

As you said there are SMD fuses which have blown off. Difficult to trace at user level. Approach a near by free lance service center for tracing with a multi meter. YOu can safely replace this with 0 ohms SMD resistor as SMD fuses are not available in small qty. If you need spare parts or service manuals do let us know.
