I took out the battery today to show someone (the battery) and I put it back in and all i get is a flashing red light. I charged it all day, and nothing happens. just wanna cry My blackberry peral 8100 does not turn on all of a sudde. Instead, a red light blinks 4 times continuously when the battery is inserted. How can I get it to start/operate?
Just hook it up to your computer using the usb and open your desktop manager and it will read your blackberry and it will restore it
Try removing the Sim card and re-inserting it.

Wow I have the same exact problem. I took out my battery and now it won't turn on.
