Facebook only displays text no graphic

I think what you need to update is Adobe Flash Player and not Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is being used for reading pdf format files.

Adobe Flash Player is being required to play media files that requires graphics requirements. This is the one needed to load your Facebook page and Facebook games faster like Farmville.

Click the Download button, and save the file. Once it is downloaded, run it to install.


My tips is for you to use Mozilla Firefox as your internet browser when accessing Facebook site. Cause it loads faster when using Firefox.

try clearing the java temp files
1. open up Java from the Windows control panel

2. click the General tab

3. In the Temporary files settings field, click 'Settings'

4. Click the Delete files button

5. restart Chrome or Firefox of IE8 and you should be able to login now.

This solution might fix your problem permanently.

If you are currently using an Internet Explorer version 8 or 9, try to disable all compatibility view settings.This versions of Internet Explorer runs compatibility view.

To disable, go to Tools menu, scroll down and unchecked "Compatibility View" and "All Compatibility View" settings.

If this will not fix your problem, try using a different internet browser like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. These works better for Facebook site.

Sounds like you might just need to clear the browsers cache.
I would recommend closing the explorer 9 window, reopening it, and following the instructions on the web site linked below. Make sure to read the instructions carefully, and check the screenshots if you are confused.

Open the Chrome and clear cache and browsing data options, Ctrl + Shift + Delete.
Open a new window in Incognito mode, Ctrl + Shift + n, check for unwanted extensions enabled and check for chrome updates (settings - > help -> check for updates)

If you didn't have the problem before yesterday you may want to try Windows System Restore before you do a full frest install.

start>programs>accessories>system tools>system restore

Choose a date from before the problem existed.
Try to install a newer version of firefox.
This is a common problem with Firefox and the solution is also simple.
1. First go to Task Manager and end process “firefox.exe”.

It is a registry error. Run a registry cleaner to fix the error. Firefox creates registry key it may be error in registry key. May be dll is missing so you can run registry cleaner to solve it.Download reginout to solve ur issue

free up your temporary files and recent history. to do this, simply click on tools, and click on clear recent history, select everything except cache. close your browser, then open it again. if it's still the same, you have connection problem with your internet.
