I had to change the piece of damaged hydraulic steel pipe feeding the clutch finger , and obviously lost some fluid in a process , now the system is sealed and tight , but there is air in it , and I can't get rid of it by a clasic "pump and tighten the breather ,release -loosen the breather" action. Is there a fluid missing in a system ? If it is fed from the brake system , that is nice and full. Or am I making a mistake in a de- airing procedure?

I have a 1992 NUWA 5h wheel with elec/hyd slide out. When you push the switch to the OUT position the fwd cylinder moves out and the aft one does not move. Push the switch to the IN position and the aft moves in and the fwd does not move. The fluid level is good. Just bought the 5th wheel and the slide has been out for 9 yrs. By loosening hyd. hoses at the pump I was able to work the slide back in to transport. There is not a knurled screw or knob to tighten or loosen.
