Staying on htc screen, thats it. I tried to boot wph in the boot menu but it says not installed

Actually I only hard reset the device by pressing the reset button at the back along with the action button and the down on the volume button, at the same time. The problem was not immediately solved then, but I left the device on overnight and to my surprise it was fully functional again.

take it to your service provider they will fix your problem on the spot usually or order you a new one free of charge. -Derek

The phone needs to be reprogrammed / reflashed with the original software.
you need to obtain a rom image of the phones program and then place it on a storage card that fits to the phone.
Then you need to start the phone in boot loader mode to flash the program.

recovery mode
Hold Home button and press power button
In this mode you can open shell/flash image/perform backup etc. depending on which recovery image you have on the phone. Press CALL+MENU+POWER buttons simultaneously to exit mode.
bootloader mode
Hold Camera button and press power button
In this mode you can install new system image (DREAIMG.NBH) from SD card by just pressing power button again.
