Got a logik washing machine error code e4. what the problem thanks

SOURCE: error code 43 on F& P washing machine

The micro switch or the lever that activates it seems to have been the cause of the Error Code 43. Have re-seated the switch in its holder and ensured the activating (out of balance) lever is moving freely. The switch appears to be OK and now it is all re-assembled, the Error Code 43 is gone. Machine is operating normally again.

Out of Balance Switch was located below the right hand side of the computer board (module).

A code of E4 means that there is to much suds or the pump is blocked. use less detergent and get detergent with he in the title. turn to off and try to restart the drain to correct problem.

Check on the machine there is a schamatic and it has error codes on it. it may be on the in side panel.

If that is a whirlpool as you do not have a brand or mod # that would most likely be a flow sensor. It is located under the top cover. remove screws top rear remove cover on top of machine. you will see that device in the tubing located just after the water inlet valve it will be white round device and most likely will have to small blue wires going to it.That is a somewhat pricey little part like 100.00 last time I got one but with whirlpool who knows could be more or less now. On that note might be cheaper to have the unit looked at by a pro. If you remove the lower kick panal you should find the tech sheet that will tell you what the code means but I'am sure it is overflow .. If you need more help please ask....Thanks for voting good luck
