Cuisinart Grind and Brew 10 cup coffee maker warm water leaks from bottom during brewing.

I have the same problem and it's only getting worse. I've had the coffee maker for nearly 3 years and I noticed the leak about 3 months ago. At first I really liked the machine, but it is a pain to clean. I'm not sure I would get another grind & brew from Cuisinart. I had a free coffee maker before I got this one as a gift and it lasted much longer than the Cuisinart. Usually, their stuff is okay, but I'm a little disappointed with this machine.

Same coffee maker, just in white, not stainless....same problem. Mine leaks all the time, not just during brewing. Wok up this AM to find my couter tops flooded, thankfully no water ran to the floor. Just over 2 years old, what a waste.

Ditto here in MA. Model DGB600 leaks from the bottom. It must be a gasket but I don't know how to get at it.

I'm on my second, I sent the first one back to the company for precisely the same problem. And now the "new" one is doing it too!

When making coffee we must watch it and always have a cup under because it will leak out sometimes a little sometimes the entire brew. What could cause this? Is it fixable?

Replacement time. a certain percentage of thse have this problem. There is a small, non-replaceable tube in the inside toward the bottom that has become melted/damaged.

I cannot get at it. Refuse to believe it can't be fixed, unless of course I will never be able to get at it. Products that cannot be repaired are too commonplace. I will not buy another like this.

How to fix the leak from the bottom of my cuisinart dgb-900bc

Re: Cuisinart grind and brew model DGB900BC leaking from the bottom. Finally fixed it before buying a new one. Remove the 4 torq screws (#10 bit check auto stores) from the bottom and remove the bottom. You will see a horse shoe shaped metal coil that heats the water from the resevoir. I found that the coil had a small hole in it. Cleaned it well and applied a coat of epoxy paste to the leaking area ( I used a product called PC11 from Ace) So far, no leaks, and the coffee maker is working like new.

This coffee maker (10 c maker with grinder) beeps it's done every few minutes with water left. we have to brew about 5 times for a full pot, what gives?

Presume this is the Grind & Brew Thermal™ 10-Cup Automatic Coffeemaker, Model # DGB-600BCC

An instruction booklet is available here: http://www.cuisinart.ca/pdf/ibs/en/DGB-600BCC_en.pdf

Review the sections beginning on page 11 of the pdf on Turning Off the Grind Function (if not using the grind feature) and Making Coffee.

Make sure you are turning off the grind function if using preground coffee and that the reservoir lid is securely closed.

Check the Cups Setting button; is sounds like the 1-4 feature may be turned on.

My Cuisinart 10 cup Grind & Brew does not finish the brew cycle. After brewing 2 cups of coffee, it beeps 5 times as if the brew cycle has ended. Then it continues to drip very very slowly. It's only...

you need to run a few pots of straight white vinegar through the machine to clean out the lime build up in the tubes. the first time you do it, after it starts to pump the water, shut it off for a few hours and let the vinegar sit in the tubes. after doing this run a few pots of cold water through before making coffee.

Cuisinart grind and brew--water does not come down

If the water is not coming out of the filter basket, and is instead leaking over the edges, then replace the brew basket.

If there is no water at all, call Cuisinart - those coffee makers have a 3-year warranty.

Leaks everywhere

Make sure the lid is on the caraffe and just try to run plain water through. Although, it sounds like you might actually have a crack/leak. Return to store if possible or call Cuisianrt if it really is leaking.

Cuisinart grind and brew

This happens when the machine needs cleaned. Fill coffee maker with white vineger instead of water. Turn grind off, make sure empty pot is in place. Brew a pot of hot vineger. Repeat. Brew a pot of hot water. Repeat. This process removes mineral buildups inside machine. If you have access to filtered water, start using that to brew your coffee. I do and probably do this process 1 per 6 weeks.

Coffee maker shuts off during brew

Unplug for 20 minutes or longer, then:
Cuisinart Coffeemaker Decalcification Process

Run 2 cups distilled white vinegar and 2 cups water through the system - brew it like it was regular coffee. Then run plain water through the coffemaker to rinse the vinegar out and make sure the decalcification was successful. Repeat as needed. Don't forget to remove the charcoal water filters first.
