You can try a LBP Fuser Reset and Error Log Clear.
LBP Fuser reset:
Press-function-7-"monitor
button 4 times slowly"- then the "start" * button. It should say service mode. push 7 then push 1
then start then push 2. 1 then start
LBP Error Log Clear:
Press-function-7-"monitor
button 4 times slowly"- then the "start" * button. It should say service mode
then press 6 then press 1 then 6 then you're done.
If that does not work, you need a new fuser and would need to get the printer serviced.
Error 021 relates to the Fuser unit (the bit that gets hot inside). It is not related to the toner, which is a bit strange, but try switch off/on first.
Failing that you may need to clear the error in service mode. To access this:
Press "Function", "7", "Monitor" four times, then "*".
The machine should be saying "Service Mode"
Then press "7"
The machine should say "LBP Parameter Set"
(not 100% about the next bit but it should be reasonably straightforward to follow the display on the machine)
You are looking for "LBP Fuser Reset"..I think it is this:
Press "2" for "LBP Fuser Reset"
Press "Start"
The machine may reboot at this point.
If this is done correctly and the error still remains, the Fuser Unit will need replacing.
Sorry to be a bit vague on the instructions..not worked on these for a few years :)
