Dz4107 the metal bar which conects the strap to the watchface comes slightly curved. this has made it weaker and ive had to send it back to france for repair 3 times. has anyone any idea as to where i might buy a job lot to save me the headache ? i cant find any bent or curved bars anywhere. It depends on the strap as there are several different types.
But I suspect the one you have has pins that go through the whole metal wrist band.
You need a special tool that pushes out the pin, these normally only come out in one direction.
There should be very small direction arrows on the back of the strap if that is the case.
When putting them back in again they must go in the correct direction.
Look on ebay for wrist watch strap removal tool, looks like a mini vice with a small handle and pin pusher the other end.

Usually on these types of clasps, there is a little metal tang with a notch on the inside of the part that the worded end of the clasp slips over a bar. Under that bar is where you lift up the notched tang. After you lift it up, using a miniscrewdriver or watch knife, you can then slide the attachment to the desired band length. Then push the tang back down to lock it.

What is the reference of the watch? On the Cruise collection, the process is very simple: 1.      (To remove band) Squeeze the easy release spring bar to one side until it detaches from the watch case completely, do the same for both bands.
2.      (To attach new band) Take the straps that you want to put on and squeeze the easy release spring bar with your (nail or screwdriver) and insert into little groove, it should snap right into place
3.      Do the same for other band
