Install the Kindle app from Apple's App Store on your iPad.
To do this, click on the App Store icon, click, the search icon (magnifying glass) in the lower right corner, type Kindle in the search box, then select Kindle App for iPad ... or ... Kindle for iPad from the list. Click the Install button.

Once the app is installed, open it.
The files that you already own should start to automatically download. You may only see the various cloud file icons in your list, and then need to click on them to start to download the files.

Updates to downloaded files can be done when they become available or may happen automatically depending on your iPad's settings.

You need to log in the same kindle account and the purchased books will be synced automatically. If this doesn't work, you can convert the kindle books to epub file and transfer to ipad. You need to connect your Kindle device to computer and then convert the books in Kindle. After that, you can transfer the books to ipad with iTunes or iTransfer. Kindle ebooks are readable via the Kindle app but you have to register the iPad as a destination for download.

Download the Kindle App for iPad from the App Store and from that app you can log to your kindle account.

I'm sorry, but you can't! If it was purchased on kindle then it remains on kindle, and not your iBooks.

You will need to download the Kindle app ( from the App Store ) on your iPad or iPhone. You can then access your account on Amazon and probably download whatever you have on the Kindle to those devices. I have it and it works great....never went back to the Fire.
