Bissell 1425 works great, but today will not ****! Spray is fine....just no suction, even without any attatchments.

We took off the hose by pushing in the 2 white pins on either side of the hose at the end near the base.BE CAREFUL NOT TO PULL ON THE HOSE ITSELF but on the plastic where the hose connects.Flush water thru the hose to clear out all the mildew and junk thats caught up in the hose. Reconnect the hose by pushing back on and locking the pins back in. It'll start smelling better immediately.

Www bissell com

Hi Therese. The Little Green doesn't create steam. It uses hot tap water and BISSELL Formula to clean your carpet.

Bissell pro heat steam carpet cleaner, not releasing water.

That means that you need to replace the pump belt. Here is the belt you need and a manual you can view:

Does the cleaner solution go in small tank. Should the little tube be down in solution?

http://www.bissell.com/Product_Search.aspx?Criteria=1699
Above is a link to bissell.com where you can get the full user manual. But to answer your questions, the cleaning solution does go into the small tank with the tube, the tube should be arched and go to the bottom corner of the small tank. Clean hot (not boiling) tap water goes into the inner bladder of the big tank. Fill it till you can see the water near the top.
