Recently replaced speedometer sensor on my 2005 Chevy Tahoe speedometer still does not work do you know how to fix it

Yes , replace the stepper motor inside the instrument cluster . The speedometer sensor as you call it is actually a VSS - vehicle speed sensor. If the transmission shifts good an engine runs good it's not the VSS bad. You have to know how it works to fix it . The VSS is an input to the PCM/ECM - engine computer , The PCM/ECM calculates engine speed then sends this info to the instrument cluster over the serial data communication bus . GM has had bad stepper motors in that year vehicle . How to repair GM Instrument Cluster Speedometer Gauge Stepper

CHEVY S10 - Once key is ignition won't stop with the ringing nois

I would just disconnect or remove the ringer from the car. Under the dashboard. Listen until you locate it and remove it. They have a timing sensor that is suppose to turn off the ringer after a few seconds. It seems this timer has gone bad. if you replace the whole ringer circuit it may work. But if you have a fairly good memory to take out the key, you can just disconnect the ringer. But it is up to you.

Dead short

Is there anything in that group that does not work exactly as it should? For instance the antenna does not go down all the way? If so it is likely that is the source of the problem.
