Need to know the routing of the fuel lines. where does the fuel line with the filter on it go? where does the line with the fitting on it go? primer bulb has one line going to the carb and the other to the tank but i don't know which side of the carb they are referring to.
Hello sir, routing fuel line for craftsman, homelite, ryobi, hedge and line trimmers, fuel tank under engine, looking at machine from rear, shall fuel line on left with filter attached goes to bottom port of carb, fuel line from right side coming out of tank with inside tip attached goes to bottom port of primmer bulb, top line on primmer bulb goes to top port of carb, fuel tank under engine, fuel line routing, looking at machine from left side, left fuel line coming out of tank(drain back only) goes to right side small port of primmer bulb, left side larger fuel line from primmer bulb to top port of carb, fuel line coming out of tank (larger line) on the right side with filter attached goes to bottom port of carb, when replacing fuel line it is very important to use the same ID and OD line the homelite takes a special line that is black in color and a bigger size, the bigger line is ID .08-OD140 small line ID3/32 X 3/16.when the lines dissolve small pieces will get in the carb clogging small passages and screen,it is advisable that you clean out carb, and use a new filter.hope this helps, any comments welcome, thank you. if the filter has broken off of the line half way that is where you will run out of fuel, hh

The longest, and sometimes smaller in diameter of the two fuel lines, goes from
the carburetor to the bottom of the tank. Leave enough slack in this
line so that the filter that attaches to the end will rest comfortably at the bottom of the tank.
The
other
fuel line goes from the primer bulb to just inside the tank,
(about an inch). make sure that you get the right size fuel lines. The
plastic coupling goes on the end of this line, inside the tank. This
keeps the line from pulling out of the tank.
(HINT): When feeding the lines through the tank holes, cut the lines at an
angle. They will feed much easier into the holes. You can than cut them
off square, once you know that you have enough to work with.
If you need further assistance, just let me know.

The gas take up line is disconnected or is broken. I have the same problem and need to find a diagram to fux it.

The smaller diameter line (fuel supply) goes from the fuel tank (w/filter) to the carb body. Another larger line (purge line) goes from carb body to the right nipple on the primer bulb. Another large line (return line) goes from the left nipple of the primer bulb into the fuel tank. co0mpleting the purge circuit. This info pertains to my 2006 Craftsman 32cc with Zama carb.

The smaller diameter line (fuel supply) goes from the fuel tank (w/filter) to the carb body. Look carefully at the 2 nipples on the carb. You can tell one is slightly larger than the other. Another larger line (purge line) goes from carb body to the right nipple on the primer bulb. Another large line (return line) goes from the left nipple of the primer bulb into the fuel tank. completing the purge circuit. This info pertains to the Craftsman 32cc with Zama carb and may work on the 25cc model as well.

Usually the line with the filter on it that comes from the tank goes to carb. inlet first which is most likely close to the bottom side of the carb.nearest to the engine, then the outlet or return line on the carb.goes to the inlet side of the primer and the outlet side of the primer goes back to the tank. The primer draws fuel through the carb to the primer to the tank if its not? then correct the line connections until it does
