you would be surprised how many error code you can find by putting the word error code followed by the actual code into google

It shows 7SAFE because wrong codes have been entered previously

Leave SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset iteslf

(This could be an hour or more)

Make sure you have the correct code

7 SAFE means wrong codes have been entered previously

To restore leave SWITCHED ON ...UNDISTURBED until it has automatically reset itself

This may take an hour or more



Vauxhall CCR 600 Code Entry
Press and hold the [ AS ] key and switch on.

'SAFE' will display followed by '10 - - - - '

Press preset [ 1 ] repeatedly for the first digit
Press preset [ 2 ] repeatedly for the second digit
Press preset [ 3 ] repeatedly for the third digit
Press preset [ 4 ] repeatedly for the third digit

To save the code press the [ AS ] key to accept

try leaving the radio turned on for an hour or two.

To reset LEAVE SWITCHED ON ....UNDISTURBED and it will automatically reset itself (usually after an hour or two)

For your code

First make sure that the code has not been noted somewhere within the car (underneath the ash tray, glove box , rear of sun visor etc)
 
 
To see if your code is available here  for free then the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard (and if you are lucky, someone may have written the code on the casing ) .

quoting the radio MAKE+MODEL plus ALL the LETTERS+NUMBERS on ANY LABELS ,BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING
 
Also quote the MAKE of CAR it is fitted into 
 
note: Unfortunately not all radios can be decoded using the Serial Number
 
Otherwise try your Main Dealer ...........or take it into a Decode Service who will plug in a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM). This takes a few minutes and shouldn`t be too expensive

Your radio is semi-locked due to wrong codes being entered previously.

Leave it SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED and it will reset itself automatically after several hours
Then you can switch ON plus the AS Button and you should get the Beep.
