Message light doesn't work

My message light doesn't light up to tell me I have a message on my Vodavi 2801 phone. I have to lift up the receiver and hear a pulsing tone to know I have a message. Is there anyway to make the message light light up?

    My message indicator light doesn't light up to show I have a message. I have to pick up the receiver and hear a pulsating tone to know I have a message waiting. HELP!!

You probably just need to have the password reset in your voice mail box. This can be done through the administrator mailbox. If nobody at your office knows how to do this, we can help.

for it to ring delete all your messages from your inbox and outbox then reboot your phone (turn it off then back off) hope it works for you it did for me:)

you need to go in to system admin of the phone system, the redo the 440 feature. for proper instructions on this, you might need the admin manual. you may post back for further help if this doesn't get you set. thanks

No problem - yet. I just wanted to know if the message waiting light on the Vodavi Starplus 2802 phone is compatible with the 100v pulse that the Mitel SX200D puts out every 4 seconds.
The 200D doesn't support High Voltage MWI's. Some phones with MWI's have a toggle switch to allow support.

This indicates there was a problem with your T1 line. Pressing 606 will clear the message on the phone. If the message returns, you may want to have your T1 line checked.
