EP1054 ERROR C0410 - Minolta EP1083 CS/PRO Copier

It's a "main motor" error. Sounds expensive to me.

Open up the machine, near the heater section, there is a push button on the circuit board.Press it, machine will restart and code is removed.

problem with your document feeder comunicating with the machine.

The error code is displayed in 2 section on the display on the zoom dosplay and the number display.
C0400 Exposure lamp malfunction.
C0410 Exposure lamp thermistor malfunction.
Verify the exposure lamp continuity and the thermistor continuity.To reset error code open the copier and press the reset microswitch located on the rear PWB panel ,close the machine front door.

A C-0410 error is a communications error between the document feeder and the machine. The manufacture did an update to the circuit board of the document feeder that sometimes corrects the error.

When I have had this problem it has been ether a bad harness or loose connection between the document feeder and copier or a bad circuit board on the document feeder.

was the power on when you depressed the small switch? you mite have damage the lamp in the fuser or the control board. very old machine find the parts and replace them

As for the C0992 code that deals with a paper draw fault, looking at the control panel do you see a small wrench located at the left hand lower corner. Touch it , it will take you to another screen when there open and close the front door, if the code comes back you have problem with main draw.

The C0410 is a problem with the very, bright lite under the big glass is bad. try to reset, open the front door to your left is a small access plate open and press trouble reset, if the code comes back replace the exposure lamp.

C0010 code main motor fault, remove the fuse unit the hot part and check for broken gears check the section where it goes look in the back for broken gears, remove the drum assy. check for broken gears, open close the front door to reset, If it comes back get a new main motor and or main control board,

This code occurs when the document feeder loses communication with copier. You can reset by powering down and unplugging. If it re-occurs you will have to replace the document feeder board with a new one. There is an updated kit related to this problem. See your local copystar dealer

I have a Konica Minolta CSPRO EP1054 (in the Middle East)

I accidentally plugged the EP1054 copier into a 110V outlet instead of the 220V. Immediately the malfunction code (error code) of "C05" appeared along with the "Call Tec Rep" indicator light (wrench).

I followed the instructions posted by "Soul Visitor" ... i.e., I found the "Trouble Reset Switch" (not shown in the user manual) by opening the upper back panel and pressing the small black button in the lower right hand corner of the middle circuit board (green).

It worked perfectly!
