Firqst: DHCP disabled copier IP adress should be 192.168.x.y IP Pc must be 192.168.x .z (169.254.xx.xxx is a bad address!! = No-IP address !!) see my recommendation for the scan on a previous post (http://www.fixya.com/support/t1395654-konica_c252_scanning_address_book_job)

You might need to reset the login and password to be able to print to that printer, especially if the previous SysAdmin had set up the BizHub to require a login and password to print.

To get to the network settings: Press the Utility/Counter key, select Administrator Settings, enter 12345678 as the password, then select network settings. You will find all the settings for networking the machine there. The print drivers can be downloaded from Konica's web site: kmbs.konicaminolta.us
User manuals can be found there as well.
Did you give the machine a static IP address or DHCP meaning let the network decide what IP address is issued this machine LOVE static YOU telling it via admin setting on the copier, admin, admin 1, network, basic . set ip, mask etc.
go to google then in the URL box not search type in the ip address of the copier will get the copiers web page. log in as administrator theres a tab for network then select scan to email smtp info goes there
1-Press "Utility/counter" button on basic panel of your printer. 2-Press "Administrator settings" 3-Press "Admin-2" 4-Press "Network Settings" 5-Press "IP settings" 6-From this menu you can disable/enable network settings.DNS Settings, DHCP, Auto, manual, etc all network settings are in this menu
If the button on the touch screen is not visible for the network settings in the administrator settings there is definately something going on. Try connectng to the web interface by typing the current IP address of the copier into the address bar in Internet Explorer. If you do not know the IP address that was assigned to it then Google for Angry IP Scanner, download, and install it. Let it scan your network and find the IP address that way. If you have the right IP address nd cannot access the IP then try it in Mozilla Firefox. You PC must be in the same IP range for any of this to work.
Once you get into the web interface you need to hit LOGOUT as you are in public mode. Then log back in as administrator. The default password is 00000000 or more likely, 12345678. YOU MUST LOG OUT OF ADMIN MODE. DO NOT JUST CLOSE THE BROWSER WINDOW. This will lock up the control panel and cause problems.
You can change the IP address from the web interface in admin mode.
If none of this works then contact me and I will go further. Hope this helps.
with scan to Email on this machine you need a mail server that is local
with ftp scanning you need IIS running on either XP Pro or server OS
SMB Scanning can be done but only if you are using an eithernet connection
which one of these do you want do to do
