Well..im hoping that this would work,1st i have the dlink dir 300 wireless router,i have configured it, my internet is online in that configuration of the dlink, but when i connect to the router with another pc .. there isnt an internet connection..so im asking u to try and give me through a solution to this..thx anyways:)
First you have to make sure that you connected it correctly. the cable coming out of the modem should be connected to the single port (Internet port) at the right when facing the back of the router.
All computers that are wired through it should be able to access the internet. if one of your computers cannot access the internet you may want to check the IP address that you are getting. (go to a command prompt and type ipconfig).
If you are connecting a wireless computer check the wireless security setting which you can find at the configuration (setup) page of the router. to access the configuration page check the owner's manual.

I have exactly the same problem.
Connection to Intenet works fine with 1 laptop (+different handheld devices).
But when I want to connect another computer via wifi, although the network is recognised, it fails to connect.
Any suggestions??
I am having the same problem as well. It says that there is a wireless connection on my other computers however i cant go onto any websites it just says' there is no internet connection'.. Please help? Also what is a command prompt?:S
My problem is... it says there is an internet connection however can not actually get on the internet...Im having a problem... I typed in inconfig in the command prompt on the computer that is using the wirless but Im getting a different IP address, but then what I do to solve this problem?

I have a D Link DIR 300 wifi router which i want to configure for using wifi as well as wired internet connection. I have got 4-5 pc's using wired internet and 1 laptop using wifi connection. My ISP Is tata indicom and they say that mine is static ip connection. I have installed a switch in which the tata modem wire is connected and in the same switch all the PC's are connected too. I am able to use internet and share network fine if the connection is directly through tata modem and switch, but whenever i use it thru dlink wifi router, i m not able to use the internet. I have got access to my d link configuration page, please advise if any specific settings are required there.
