Dec. 26, 2011 - Jon Grella : If you door lock and latch assembly doesn't work or close properly you can either pull the in or door out by removing the screws on the inner door along the frame and physically checking the door lock to see if it is jammed in any way. Or call miele directly for the part. Their number is 1-800-999-1360.

Have you tried running the machine, NO clothes, on hot with just bleach?

Water jets in roof of soap container are blocked and / or conditioner syphon assy blocked . clean all and retry

Bit the bullet and stripped out the covers from the unit so as to observe where the leak was coming from. Ran m/c on a basic quick wash (be careful, exposed live electrical terminals!!!) and noticed that water came from the detergent drawer for a second or two.
Stripped out detergent drawer housing and found that the large discharge pipe underneath was very blocked with black/white residue. Presume that this had been dislodged from the walls of the pipework during the house move.Removed residue and reassembled unit & ran, OK.
Saved myself £100 call out. Give Miele their due though, the documentation suggests that if you habitually wash at a low temperature, which we do, you should occasionally run a 95degree wash. My wife was very surprised when I asked her if she did this.
