I have an hp laserjet 1320 that has no power at all and keeps blowing fuses.Could this be the ECU? I've put in 2 fuses and it blows them right away.Is there a way to know for sure without swapping the part? Thanks for the help.
Try connecting the printer to a circuit board (one with a circuit breaker) to ensure overvoltage is minimised. Next check that the printer has the appropriate power setting (220v/110v Depending on your area.) Ps- not all fuses are the same , if you have the original 1 look on the adaptor and it will say 220/110V at ?A thats the proper fuse to get ,if you replaced a different fuse (lower rating) it will go out instantly.if the fuse still goes out you will need to ask Hp for a replacement adaptor for your printer.(if none is available you need to either take it to hp (costly) or buy another printer .
Hope it helps

Thank you for your input. We checked to insure the fuses are the same. They are. We went ahead and ordered the power board. Will see what happens!
