I just bought the 65 inch LCD from Sharp. It worked for 2 days. We turned the TV off last night. The power button on the front is blinking green. The manual power button and the remote do not respond. We can not turn the TV on. We removed the power cord for 10 minutes to reset it but nothing works. The troubleshooting guide does not address the power link blinkin green. Suggestions? my sharp 65" lcd (lc-65d64u) worked for 9 days. it will not power on. the green power light blinks off and on. i've tried unpluging the set, but the green light keep blinking. i called sharp they said to take it back to sears and get another set. sears does not have any more 65" sets. sears want to try to fix the set. i don't trust sears to fix the set in a timely and correct way because of other experiences with sears tv and appliance repair.
Call sharp back again and tell them you first want to register for aquos advantage program, which is free. By doing that your service will go much quicker with them. You then tell them that you want to get set up for service. They will have one of their authorized professionals come and fix your tv in a matter of days. If their tech cannot fix it, they will replace your tv free of charge as long as you are within your warranty.

I have this exact problem
The white arrow light on front of tv is blinking no power light. I unplug it for about 5 mins. Looked at the set and still blinking. We was replacing our direct tv receiver, then this happened so we put the old back in. Any suggestions?
