Webcam not working

Try downloading and install it from Acer's website.

Get online and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "Acer Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Download and install the Webcam drivers.

You can also try using ManyCam. It comes with drivers and software.

You can always download Manycam and install it. Go to www.google.com and in the search box type: "download.cnet.com" (without the quotes). Click on the link to go to the site. When the site opens look down on the left and you will see a gray area that says Find Software. Type "Manycam" (without the quotes) in the white search area then hit the search mirror. When it brings back your results look for the one that says ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Down load it and install it. Make sure you remove the check box on any junky programs it would like to install. You only want to install ManyCam, no additions whatsoever during the install. ManyCam is totally FREE and easy to use, and you will always know where your webcam software is.

Once you get the ManyCam installed and running you can go to their website and read up on how to set it as the software to use when you make video calls. In fact once you install it, your software that came with the Acer Laptop might start working.

As i search i found the your dell has no built-in webcam.So whats your cam model?

Hi there. So you want the installation software for your webcam? Ok, most manufacturers of products for computers have software downloads on their website. Try going to the manufacturer website and most likely you will find the software that you need.

go to control panel/system security/system/device manager. on the top scan driver click it... if you see an icon camera with yellow sign (like this ?) click it and install update online... automatic online downloading... step by step ...

Download Revo and uninstall your webcam software using 'advanced' mode. Following the uninstall a scan will be made of the hard drive and registry and left behind files will be offered up for deletion. Select everything found and delete.

Visit the Microsoft hardware support site and download the latest driver for your model

I'M NOT QUITE SURE WHAT YOU ARE SAYING HERE. DO YOU NOT HAVE THE SOFTWARE OR NOT HAVE A DISC DRIVE? IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE SOFTWARE, MOST SOFTWARE CAN BE FOUND ONLINE AT YOUR WEBCAM MAKER SITE. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A DISC DRIVE, DOWNLOADING THE SOFTWARE FROM THE WEBSITE WOULD WORK AROUND THIS. HOPE THIS HELPS. IF NOT REPLY TO ME AND WE'LL WORK IT OUT.

Necesito los driver para instalar la WebCam QuckCam Messenger Logitech para que funcione con Windows Vista, porque el Driver que tengo (el Cd que viene con la WebCam) no funciona.
