Epson Workforce 610 blocked (or malfunctioning) nozzles

With epsom ink jet printers the printhead is on the machine, not he cartridge as with many printers. This complicates things!
I suggest you get some cleaner cartridges put them in and run one single cleaning cycle each day until the cartridge is finished. Remember just One cleaning each day,,, this is to allow time for the cleaner to sit and "possibly" dissolve the blockage.
It is about your only chance of salvage.
An Ink jet printers worst enemy is sitting for long periods of time without printing on a regular basis, The ink dries in the print head nozzle!

Hp office jet 5610 wont print colors correctly

Some printer software that detect ink levels won't recognize a cartridge that's been refilled. They treat the cartridge as empty although you've filled them with ink. You can try removing the HP software that pertains to the printing functions only (not the scanner abilities). You can also do a Power reset. Remove the printer cartridges, turn off the power, remove both the Power cord and USB cord (if applicable) for 10 minutes. After reconnecting the USB and power cords, install the cartridges as you normally would. The printer should treat them as new.

The yellow ink light keeps flashing on my HP5150 printer, I have just installed new cartridges and have tried cleaning the sensors but that hasn't worked

If the old cartridge also give that alarm so ignore it and keep working..it's a sensor malfunction
but if the old one is not giving that alarm, i think its compatibility problem or the new cartridge is not original.

When I print a photo, vertical lines appear throughout the photo. The ink cartridges are new. No error message appears on screen.

Hello,

Please state the model of your printer.

Vertical lines appears on prints because the nozzles on your print head are blocked, it doesn't means all nozzles but some of your nozzles are blocked. A print head of an inkjet consists of many tiny little pores or nozzles, through which jets of inks are sprayed on the photo paper to create an image, if some of this tiny pores are blocked print outs deteriorates, so cleaning the print head is an option if your printer has print head inside the printer you can first clean it through the head cleaning option present in the maintainence tab of your printer software, for printers that have print head on the cartridges, you can add a few drops of isopropryl alcohol on the print head and leave it for a minute and put it back on the printer and run the head cleaning utility of your printer software.

Hope this helps you.

HP5550 printer is printing everything in green. We have true HP cartridges

So, your "blue" and "yellow" ink-cartridges are OK, and are mixing to produce "green".

But, either your "red" ink-cartridge is empty, or the ink-jets that shoot that colour onto the paper are BLOCKED.

Run a print-head-cleaning-cycle, using the HP Support Tools that were installed from the HP CD-ROM, and then, if necessary, replace/refill the "red" cartridge.

HP 6310 printer says HP 95 tricolor is empty.

Ray,
It sounds like you need to replace the cartridge with a new one. The electronics may have went out. We see this usually during the winter months when the static electricity in the air is high and we shock the cartridge. I would also NOT recommend cleaning the head/jets of the cartridge with alcohol. The electronics are fine to clean with alcohol both inside the printer and on the c artridge, but the head will dry out. We recommend taking a damp warm wet paper towel, placing it on a protected surface, and placing the head of the cartridge on the paper towel until you see some ink appear. Then put it back in your printer and let the printer clean off the bottom. If the printer is not cleaning off the bottom of the cartridge, the printer cartridge wiper on the carriage may be broken or stuck.

Yellow ink not coming thru

The ink jet is block this happens when you don't you your printer for a long time or you use the genetic cartridge. What you could do is disassemble the printer head and use hot water to clean it out. Good luck

1220c Ink blockage

Sometimes the nozzles get clogged. If several normal cleaning cycles do not clear all the nozzles, next try removing the cartridge and setting it, nozzle-side down, on a steaming-hot damp paper towel for a few minutes, then running a cleaning cycle. If this doesn't solve the problem, as a last-ditch effort the head can be soaked in a shallow dish of alcohol for a few minutes. This cleared up a clog for me that no other method would solve, but I have heard that if soaked too long in alcohol, the head may be damaged.
