Missing Manual Hi, I purchased a BASE LY-T19A TV from Target a couple of weeks ago. It was an ex-display TV but they didn't have the manual or remote. I purchased a universal remote so I could tune the TV but I still can't get it to work. Does anyone know where I could download/buy the manual? Many thanks Yvonne

You have buttons on the side to control manually. You can view the manual at the sungale website. There are a couple of places that do replacement remotes but I don't know where you're from so just google sungale sf703 remote and you should find one.

system setting is programable and should be set first to service mode by the remote control

Missing thing hard to claim incomplete,because of a long period times.U can try the place where u buy this tv or the 1800-??????? in ur instructional owner manual.Talk to their costomer service.

I have had the same problem with my BASE TV, i purchased a DIGITECH AR-1727 remote which has an Auto Scan function. It took me a while to find the right code but came up with '173'. Not sure if it is the same for all remotes but try and see!!!!

Press the On screen button on remote for 5 seconds and tv will return. (third button on the left of remote)

I have found a couple of sites where you can download the owners manual for a fee of $9.99 but I have been unable to find a site where it is free. Hitachi web site does have several owner manuals but do not have the one for this tv. My owners manual is a photo copy of the original manual. I got mine by calling Hitachi (1-800-448-2244) shortly after purchasing the TV, it was a display model and did not come with one. I have just bought my second remote, first one when I got the owners manual and second one just a couple of weeks ago through sears parts. Once I get a scanner hooked up I will try to upload my manual to this site.

this is the "service" manual for Hitachi models 46UX50B/51K, 50UX52B/53K, 60UX54B/55K, 50SBX70B, 60SBX72B, 70SBX74B. These are the same model numbers listed on the owners manual.
