SOURCE: Whirlpool ADP 5500 dishwasher stops - light flashes 7 times.

It's a heating issue either a bad heater or bad sensor.

SOURCE: problem with whirlpool dishwasher ADG957

Continuous flash with no pause is a Faulty NTC (temperature sensor)
Or according to whirlpool it might be that your keys are syticking.

E4 Error on other machines (eg. Baumatic) means that the bottom catch tray (condensate trap) below the machine has too much water in it. This condensate is supposed to evaporate away, but too much will mean it builds up over a period of time. There is a float that trips a microswitch in my Baumatic which detects this, it only needs 2 - 3mm of water before the microswitch is activated.

If this is the problem with your machine (try it annd see), there are several solutions posted in forums - best seems to be to remove plastic access hole caps from base and mop out the tray with sponge. TURN OFF AT MAINS BEFORE POKING AROUND INSIDE THE BASE. May have to repeat at regular intervals to.

What causes it ? - I think it is excess condensate from steam inside the wash cabinet, follow the manufacturers advice to open the door as soon as the wash cycle has ended to release as much steam as possible to stop it condensing inside the machine.

Peramnent solution ? - I don't think possible - My guess is it's just a bad design.

SOURCE: i have a cda mx194

MX194 Dishwasher.

Switch off and unplug before doing anything. .

First three lights are flashing on top and it will not stop making stupid noises.

Remove plastic panels at front of machine under door, see if there is water inside.

If there is ... something is leaking. If it is a slow leak - solution is to dry up excess water in tray with paper towels or whatever comes to hand. You will need to find the leak somehow - salt container is usual suspect.

There is a microswitch attached to a float on the left hand side inside a white plastic cover. Water at the base of this activates the switch and disables machine. Mine has not leaked since trying this fix and machine is running well 2 months down the line. Better 10 minutes with paper towels than 2 hours of expensive plumbers.

NOT SOLVED Currys Essentials CID60W16 Dishwasher Not Responsive. Power button works, LEDs work, nothing else works.

usually there are "Interlocks" that make sure everything is correct before any mechanics are engaged, the first and most prevalent is the front door interlock it is usually a micro switch there is also a latch interlock the door and latch could be one and the same, one switch does two functions. that , those seems the most likely . check for any wires that might have come loose or fallen off of their connector like on a motor or a controller or a valve or a switch ? without seeing it thats the best i can help you with. best of luck to you ..

'low rinse' stuck on with full rinse aid, can't start wash cycle

Actually, if you look closely at that Low Rinse button or emblem, you will see a little lock symbol above the words "Low Rinse", and I'll bet THAT light is the one that is on. Basically, you have the control lock (or child-lock) turned on. To turn it off, you have to press and hold the Sanitize button for 3 to 5 seconds until that light goes off. Now your dishwasher will work!

Currys essentials dishwasher error warning

Just installed a CDW60W16 at my daughters house. worked ok empty but as soon as it was loaded the glass icon lit up and beebs. when I turned it over to take a look at the float switch I noticed that the levelling legs were all screwed in so the base of the machine was sitting on the floor. so when the machine was loaded the pressure switch operated as it was being pushed up by the floor. I unscrewed the legs a few turns to allow an air gap between the floor and base of the machine and all working fine now. on checking the installation instructions it only mentions loosening the legs to level it if required which is wasn't. maybe the manual should give instructions to unscrew the legs a few turns to prevent this

I have a Danby DDW1899WP portable dishwasher. I just got it yesterday. I had a lot of dirty dishes so I did 1 cycle first and it worked perfectly, I was impressed. I then started a 2nd cycle for the rest...

I realize the above question is almost 4 years old, but I am sure others are still having this problem. My Danby was behaving the same way: drying cycle light would flash like it was having a myocardial infarction, and the cycle would stop. I could only get the light to stop flashing by turning the unit off. What you didn\'t say above is what happens then: everything most likely returns to normal-- or at least, so it seems. I have now had this happen to me two times in a row with my Danby 1899WP. Each time the machine has started up just fine, drains water out, loads in fresh water, and begins the wash cycle, only to freeze up with that damn flashing red light on the dry cycle and the dishes not clean. I have owned it for about two months, and so far this is my only complaint. I am running it again right now, for the third time, and we shall see what that light does now.... Will report back afterward!
