I put my iPod 3rd gen screen lock on and i cant get into it

If you have a third gen ipod nano and you locked the screen lock and forgot the code, well what you do is you hook your ipod to your PC,laptop ect. and disconnect it. It should be unlocked. But if you lock it you have to do that over again to unlock it.

Click start control panel scroll to folder options tick in the box to show hidden files and holders

connect your Ipod to your computer
Click start click click on you Ipod to open then go Ipod controls device there should be a folder saying locked

Right click select rename to open or delete the folder your Ipod should now be open.

if you had lock on, it will freze up. if it was on lock here is how you can fix it. hold the center butten and the menu butten at the same time till the apple sighn shows up.
