I cant load my application at Nurit 8020, it shows REQUEST DENY.I try to load new NOS, but still showing REQ. DENY. How I can to load a New NOS. The POS shows SECURE at startup screen. Thanks
Did you read user's manual? Verifone 8020 manual
If you are just reloading a NOS in your Nurit 8020 machine, even if your machine is secured you should be able to load it, make sure your com1 baud rate setting is the same, your 8020 is set to 115200 baud rate, and should set up your com1 at the same speed...hope this will help and if you still need more help you can call us at (775)358-2922 ask for Randy. Power down the unit and with your right hand hold down the 1 5 9 and enter keys down. While those keys are pressed down with your left hand turn on unit it should take you to that nos loader menu. Once in the nos loader menu choose back to NOS password is 1947. Once in the NOS menu choose number 6 Service Menu
then 1 Hardware test
then 15 RAM test this will state this terminal will self destruct continue. Hit enter and it will create a new RAM disk once you see the date & time if correct hit ESCAPE if not correct D & T hit enter then put the correct info in Military time MM/DD/YY format. Hit enter and it will take you back to your main screen with the original password of MMDDYYYY that is your password.

VeriFone NOS 6 Operating System
VeriFone has assigned “end of life” status to the NURIT NOS 6 operating system. The terminal manufacturer previously announced that it would discontinue support for NOS 6 applications and stop offering NOS 6-to-NOS 7 upgrades on October 31, 2009.
On July 1, 2010, VeriFone will permanently shut down the loader required to convert from NOS 6 to NOS 7, making the upgrade unavailable to all models of NURIT terminals.
Merchants who wish to continue receiving support for impacted NURIT terminals are strongly encouraged to update their operating systems (if possible) prior to the July 1 deadline. Currently, there are three devices in the marketplace that may be eligible for the NOS 6-to-NOS 7 operating system upgrade:
To notify eligible First Data Independent Sales customers, they will include a message in the May 2010 month-end merchant statement (scheduled for release in early June) advising NURIT 2085 users to contact the Omaha POS Help Desk to update their terminals.
