I have the same problem. I am using an original HP cartridge but filled it with ink manually. It worked great for more then a month and now this error message. I dont know if it has anything to do with the re-fill, but, It shouldn't anyhow.

I've got the same problem with my color cartridge, which is a remanufactured 75XL. The original HP 75XL that I had previously used worked fine.

I had the same problem. The only difference is that I decided to try using an XL cartridge to save money on ink. This is what caused my error message. After exchanging the XL and replacing it with the regular size cartridge the error message went away.

If the new (or refilled/reman/compatible) HP 74, 75, 74XL, or 75XL ink cartridge refuses to complete the printer alignment following cartridge installation, then the ink cartridge either has a connectivity issue with the flexible printed circuit cable (inside unit where cartridge mates with cable), rear cartridge contacts or cable contacts are dirty with ink residue, or the cartridge is suffering from marginal internal electrical performance.
These types of severe cartridge errors (i.e. refer to documentation / incompatible cartridges, print cartridge(s) problem, etc.) typically indicate the internal micro electronics of the HP 74/75 cartridge are damaged. The cartridges electrical wire runs at rear and lower side of the ink cartridge, are very delicate and are somewhat susceptible to ink attack over time, which can lead to premature failures. In addition, the older the cartridge the higher the chance of an internal micro electronics failure.
I suggest you first run a Tap 41 diagnostic test to check cartridges electrical health (this is a special forced service test; refer to Inkjet411 videos so you understand how to activate and read the HP OJ printer diagnostics print out).

Had same problem. Tried two cartridges suspecting it is a problem with the cartridge, but it turned out not to be the case. Looked more closely - found out there was a small ***** of ink in the service area. I removed it with a small plastic spoon. I also cleaned the contacts in the cartridge bay on the print head with alcohol. Solved the problem, the printer now prints ok.

Hey, I am really at my last wits with this printer.I have a color LJ 3600N. I received the 10.92.00 error. So i replaced the left and right lever lock. After the repair it worked for like half hour.

You replaced the lever locks but did you replace the actual cartridge locks. Chances are either the left or right cartridge lock for the black toner cartridge has broken. Remove the toner cartridge and then lift the transfer belt to the closed position. You should see a lever drop on both left and right side. If the are missing or broken you will need to replace them.

I keep getting a cartridge error message. I have replace the ink cartridges but still have the error.

Are you using Dell Series 11 ink cartridges?

Open the printer with the power on and remove the Dell Series 11 black ink cartridge and make sure the tape is off the cartridge, then reseat the cartridge back in. Now do the same for the Dell Series 11 color cartridge. Now when you close the printer, it should print an alignment page. Any error messages?

Black = Black side(left side) Color = Color side(right side)

Photo = Black side(left side) Color = Color side(right side)

Dell Series 11 ink cartridges have a sensor in them that cannot be reset. Article on refilling Dell ink cartridges.

Dell Series 11 ink cartridges can be purchased at Staples, Walmart or Dell's Website.

It possible to get a Dell Series 11 Cartridge with a bad sensor. Take back to place of purchase for a replacement.

The following error message appears on the color graphics display after you insert a cartridge: Remove and Check Print Cartridges . The printer will not print. The message does not specify which cartridge has caused the error. Solution This error message indicates that the printer cannot determine which cartridge is causing the error. Follow the steps below to solve the problem.
  1. Remove the color cartridge from the left stall (which has a blue latch) and refasten the latch. Leave the other cartridge in place.
  2. Close the printer, wait 10 to 15 seconds, then look at the LCD display.
    • If the LCD display reads Insert Color Cartridge in Left Stall , the color cartridge may be causing the problem. Follow the steps below:
      1. Clean the color cartridge contacts.
      2. Reinsert the color cartridge into the carriage and close the blue latch.
      3. Close the printer and wait 10 to 15 seconds.
      4. If the LCD display reads Remove and Check Print Cartridges , replace the color cartridge.
    OR
    • If the LCD display reads Remove and Check Print Cartridges , follow the steps below:
      1. Reinsert the color cartridge.
      2. Remove the black or photo cartridge, depending on which one is installed in the right stall. The right stall has the gray latch. Be sure to refasten the latch on the empty stall.
      3. Clean the black or photo cartridge contacts.
      4. Reinsert the black or photo cartridge.
      5. Close the printer and wait 10 to 15 seconds.

  1. Remove and then reinsert the cartridge indicated in the error message.
  2. If the error is still displayed, clean the contacts.
    1. If the error message is Error. Remove and Check Black or Photo Cartridge , the following steps may help:
    1. Remove both cartridges, lower the latches, and close the printer access door.
    2. Turn off the unit by pressing the On button on the front panel. Wait for the printer to completely shut down.
    3. Turn the printer back on by pressing the On button.
    4. When the message display reads Insert Print Cartridges , open the access door and replace the cartridges.
    1. If neither of the steps above fixed the problem, either the cartridge or the printer is faulty

LEXMARK 8350 - Right Printer Cartridge error

take cartridge out again and inspect carefully the circuit inside the printer where the cartride goes. Look for dust, dirt, ink etc. Try using a can of air to clean the area too. Not sure if it will be visible but look for a ribbon cable near the circuit area too that may be loose. You might want to take it to a local computer shop ( not a chain store like best buy etc ) often they can do a simple repair pretty cheap and fast. Good luck

    Inputting new ink cartridges

Error 1102 means cart error. Try cleaning the copper contacts on the cart and the contacts in the printer also. If still fails, then put old carts and check if u still get same error. If u dont get the error then there is a problem with the cart itself. But if you have bought a refilled cart then the print heads on the carts are bad. Needs replacement.
