I don' think the B250-XT was designed with lisening to music in mind. There is a new mondel out now that can be found at Pilot Truck Stops that is called the B250-XT Plus that will provide that function.

When we watch football, we can't hear the refs on the field. Also during halftime we can't hear the music. Some random things get cut out.

do you have a center channel speaker hooked up? Most voices come through the center channel. I would imagine the surround processor would put the refs on the center channel.

I record music on Tascam dp2. Why can't I hear my music in all spks. on 5.1 surr. dvd player? I can hear other cds in all 5 spks.

When u record music, its important that the background music be at -7db and the vocals should bounce the level meters to just over 0 db,also if u use a mixing console to add more instruments to the mix, the mixed output of the added content MUST BE NO MORE THAN -7db in order to maintain balanced music output to all channels.

Koss DVD with surround sound speakers and I can only hear the background music?

You need to change to sound setting on your amp to 'multi channel in' or dts, depending on what you are trying to watch. Also make sure all speakers are polarised correclty ie +/+ -/-.

Is there any way to hook up a sonos zp120 to the bose 901's without using an amp

No speakers will run without an amp.

The Active Equalizer must be somehere in the Line Level path between any source and whatever amp is exclusively driving Bose 901's, which makes the ZP120 useless as a networked music delivery system becuase everything IT outputs would be 901-encoded - unless you had 901's in every room.

The Sonos neither knows nor cares what processes are applied to the signal before it arrives through the Line Level inputs but the digital audio/ethernet route lacks anywhere to insert ANY analog processing, so 901's will not work with the ZP120 if the music originates elsewhere.

I'm not so sure how the claimed 55 watts would work out for 901's. I'd take that specification with huge grain of salt as this unit only weighs about 5 lbs.

NOKIA N73 screen shows headset mode on the top right even when not connected to the headset.....so i am not able to hear anything even when i connect the headset it is not responding & i can't hear...

Hi Saik,
I think problem is caused by unplugging the jack before pausing/Stopping the music.
1) Plug in a headset into the jack
2) Open up a media player (either the MP3 player or any online music)
3) Begin to let the music play.
4) Stop the music from playing after a few seconds
5) Completely exit out of the media application.
6) With the headset still plugged in, wait about 15-30 seconds. (this is so that the media/pandora app task can "fully" stop from running)
7) Unplug the headset.
The phone should now be able to emit sound from the earpiece.

If the above does not work, other methods I have read tell you to plug in a headset & play music. While the music is playing, quickly remove & insert the headset into the jack (not too rough so if doesn't break anything) until you hear the music coming out of the speaker.

Finally, if you still have the issue, try rebooting. Turn off the Phone, Remove the battery completely and reinsert after 30 seconds. Turn on the Phone.

Hopefully that should fix the issue.

I have a sony ta-fe370 amplifier. I bought it 5 years ago. 4 years ago it stopped working. I would now like to repair it. The problem is that it turns on and the power light comes on and so does the...

The problem is hard to track down, but fixable. You need to determine if the pre-amp has failed or the power amp. To determine which try this: Connect a device which plays music and turn the volume control fully up! You can sometimes hear the sound better via a pair of headphones. If you can hear any signal or music breaking through, then the pre-amp section is OK. If you can't it might not be. If you can hear faint music then it will be the main power amp to blame. Now because you have lost both channels you must only investigate devices (such as IC's) which have both channels running to them. Some amps have one big power amp IC that does the work. So if that goes it takes the sound with it. Have a look at whatever is on the big heat sink first, that will determine a lot of your future actions.

Hi my amp left channel does not work. the speaker relee works at both channels and the amp works fine at the right side.it goes not in protect what do u think is wrong ?

It could be a number of things. Try this test first though. Play some music and swing the balance control to the bad channel and turn up the volume all the way if needs be. If you hear any music breaking in the pre-amp is ok. If not it could be dead. Again if you hear faint music it's the power amp that's not working.

Next have a look inside. You should be able to identify the channels by following the wires from the speakers. Remember that stereo amps are just two mono amps joined. So the Right Channel will act as a guide to what the left should look like. Plus if you are any good with a volt meter provide the correct voltage indications. Any burnt/damaged parts on the left and not on the right is an indication of the fault area. If you have no output from the above test pay close attention to those parts on the heat-sink for the affected channel.
Ignore the power supply parts are anything that is on it's own, unless it's an IC with both channels going into it. As they can go faulty on one channel, but not the other sometimes.
If you can't find anything it might be an idea to replace the left output device(s).

I have the QSC PLX3602 connect from dbx pa as bridge mono to the sub woofer jbl mrx518. It works well. But now when I change it as stereo to the main jbl mrx515, I only hear the bass sound, no more...

Hi,

I don't think that there's anything wrong with the amp.
I'll think you're using a x-over, connected to the low-output.

Just a shot,

The guitar is not amplifying

faulty lead? when the lead is plugged in turn the amp distortion on (may be called 'gain') and when you tap the end that goes into the guitar with your finger you should hear a buzz. try another lead if not, and if it still doesn't work make sure that volume is up on the amp and the guitar. there may also be a knob in the back of the amp, turn that up too (but not all the way or when you do get it working you'll blow the speakers out).
