Reading Janome design cards with MC 10000

I bought my MC 10000 in 2003. I got transferred overseas in 2004 and my machine went into climate controlled storage. Now, I amd back and anxious to get back to work. So much has changed in regards to hardware and software. My biggest problem is that the many Janome design cards I have won't read into the machine. I know I still have a couple of boxes missing. I think I have a Card Reader 10000 and a Customizer 10000. Also, the Easy Tranfer Cd I have says it is for Windows 95/98/Me/NT 4.0/2000. I am running Windows Vista on my laptop. Will this even work? Any help would greatly be appreciated!!!!! My email is [email protected]

I have the 10000 with the upgrade and am using my new lap top with Vista and I am unable to transfer designs with the USB cord. We determined it is not the cord, the computer or the sewing machine so it...

If you have the customiser software open the disk up to view the drivers the driver may work with the win 2000 if so it will look for JSMC and install it. If this does not work try right clicking on the customiser icon and see if you can run in compatibility mode, Otherwise you may have to use a SD card and only transfer to that.

Can not send designs from pc to mc 10000 .

Hi all have just solved the problem with a kind lady from Janome, the problem was my internal memory was all used up on my mc10001 - answer is delete some of your designs that you have put on your machine and gauranteed the next design you send via USB will be fine - no messages - woohoo im not going insane - sigh of relief. Anyway that is the solution - just delete a couple of designs and free up the space.

Downloading embroidary designs for the Janome MC 350E

Firstly, format your compact flash card on your embroidery machine. This is presuming you have embroidery files in your jef format your machine reads on your computer. Place your compact flash in the compact flash card reader writer connected to your computer, open the compact flash card in your computer, open the file emb5. Now you can simply copy and paste a design from your computer to your flash card. It works for me. Goodluck.

MC 10000 Digitizer 10000 Error Message

Try downloading the updates for your software from Janome Global, downloads, software. Version 1 needs patches to make it compatible with XP. The most current Version for the 10000 software is 2.21, and the upgraded program is Digitiser pro/MB , a much more stable and far easier version to work with. The upgrade has to be purchased via a dealer or direct from Janome.

You can also use a PCMCIA adapter in your MC10001 and a CF memorycard..you also need a memorycard reader to write to your CF card from your computer

Janome MC 10000 with Easy Transfer using jef files

Your internal memory files could be full and need some designs deleted, the monogram design might not be centred in the hoop so it registers outside the sewing field, The hoop selected might be too small for the design.
