SOME HINGES HAVE A HOLE THROUGH THEM TO LOCK THE HINGE IN THE "BROIL STOP POSITION" THAT WILL MAKE IT ALOT EASIER TO REINSTALL THE DOOR. SOME HINGES HAVE A BUILT IN LEVER THAT YOU FOLD INTO THE JOINT OF THE HINGE, LOCKING IT IN PLACE. IF THE HINGE CAME OFF WITH THE DOOR, THERE ARE TWO PINS THAT THE HINGE HAS TO HOOK BACK OVER WHEN INSERTED INTO THE HOLES IN THE FRONT OF THE RANGE. FIND THE CORRECT ANGLE TO ENGAGE THE HINGES CORRECTLY.
IF THE HINGES ARE ATTACHED TO THE RANGE, PULL THEM OPEN TO THE BROIL STOP POSITION. THEY NORMALLY WILL HANG IN THAT POSITION. USE YOUR KNEE TO SUPPORT THE DOOR AS YOU SLIDE IT BACK OVER THE HINGES.

lock mechanism is acting up. happens sometimes. you can get to it from the back and get the thing open to use until you get the part
SOURCE: OWER OVEN DOOR LOCKED WHEN
F93 is "Maximum oven door lock time exceeded."
Basically it's trying to lock the door, and doesn't know when to stop.
This could be a lock motor problem, or a faulty microswitch.
Turn off and wait 5 minutes. Turn on again, and pull and push the door continuously for 30 seconds or so. Turn off again.
You will need to test the switch and motor assembly. Replacing whichever is defective.
Hope this helps you.
If you get it sorted, please rate as Fixya.
If it was of any use - as helpful,
If no help- as thanks F T.
If no help at all - inappropriate.
(I think the descriptions are missleading.)
Thanks.
SOURCE: The door on my frigidaire
Hello kmgtsg,
Welcome
You said, The door on my frigidaire stove model # FEF389WJCC locked and we are
unable to get it open. We weren't self cleaning the oven so I'm not sure
what happened. Any suggestions how to fix it? We did try turning the
breaker off and that didn't help.
Did you leave the breaker off for 5 minutes or just flicked it off and on?
It may be a faulty door Latch
The door latch consist of a micro switch and solenoid. Once the door is closed and the latch handle.
But first try to deactivate the door lock
