Hi I am busy building the Botter 1912, I have the plans and the English guide with the manifest of all the parts. My kit is 31 years old and was not produced on the laser cut system. I would be more than willing to share my paperwork with you. You can also look at my building progress online. http://www.systemshock.co.za/forums/topic/37735-project-botter-1912/
I'm having the same problem, Denon has taken down the firmware upgrade for yours ( and mine) AVR-1912. My receiver is also stuck in the update fail loop. Supposedly they will have it back up, but I don't know the timeframe.
and that should help you out, though I can't say how much. I've gone as far as resetting the microprocessor, but it keeps trying to update, and then fails...
You might just have a handshaking issue between your PS3 and your receiver. See if there are any firmware upgrades for your PS3, Receiver or both. This usually takes care of the problem. If not - your receiver has a 2 or 3 year MFG Warranty. Have it checked out or exchanged.
You will get the "Sel Full 1912 error" on your server when the system event log is full and unable to record further events. You must clear the event log before the error will cancel. Boot your system into the BIOS/CMOS, locate the system logs and select clear log, reboot your system. Once the system is back up, I would go into the admin task folder and make sure the logs are clear there as well.
