you are right about the filters. It turned out that the projector was slightly damaged and there was a filter trigger that was not being pushed in and was not allowing my projector to turn on. Had to have that disconnected by a professional so that the projector would work.

Klv32s310A sony bravia gets start on with green light and after a second turns to stand by mode blinking the red light 6 times after each 2 second interval

Hello Sagar,
green led means tv powered on and status ok.
Red blinking light almost always means defect, overcurrent or overload.
6 blinks for Sony lcd flat tv means trouble in backlight circuit, or backlight inverter (backlight illumination or lighting makes your tv screen visible).
common problems in the inverter circuit, which drives the backlight, or shorted drivers, or short-circuit transformers or open circuits.
You should find the problem in the inverter circuit, or in the power supply board or in the main board.
Also look for bad capacitors (electrolytic caps) which are bulged and swollen on top.
Decoupling plugs from printed circuit boards can help you in finding the problem board by elimination method.
If you power up the set after unplugging certain plugs on f.e. the inverter board , this could result in getting a green power led and concluding that this board is faulty.

succes,
Walter from Antwerp, Belgium.

Nissan pulsar 1987 n13 the ECM light came one and the car cut out and won't start again and I need to know where the ECM is

Hi, the computer is under the passenger's seat. Code extraction procedure is pasted below.

READING CODES Modes will not switch while the engine is running. The ECM automatically switches to MODE I when the ignition is switchedOFF.
1984-90 Vehicles With Dual LED System
The self-diagnostic system has 5 modes. To switch modes, switch the ignition ON and use a screwdriver to turn the mode select switch through the access port on the ECM. The inspection lights will begin to flash. When the desired mode has been entered, turn the screwdriver fully counterclockwise. The red LED and green LED perform different functions in different modes.
Mode I-
This is the normal vehicle operating mode. The green LED will indicate loop status. If the green LED is not blinking when the engine is running, the vehicle is in open loop, or the HO 2 S, O 2 S, or sensor circuit has a malfunction. If the green LED is blinking, the vehicle is in closed loop. If a malfunction takes place, the red LED and the MIL will glow, indicating a malfunction has occurred.
Mode II-
Both the red LED and green LED are used to monitor mixture ratio feedback control. The green LED will function as described in MODE I. If vehicle is in open loop, the red LED and green LED will remain on or off. In order for results to be valid, vehicle must be in closed loop. In closed loop, the red LED remains off if the system is running rich, comes on if the system is running lean, and blinks at the same time with the green LED if system is within 5% of the exact air/fuel ratio.
Mode III
-When this mode is accessed, the codes stored in the ECM's memory will be flashed by the green LED and red LED on the side of the ECM. The red LED will light first. This is the first digit of the trouble code; the green LED will flash next, showing the second digit of the code. For example: 2 flashes of the red LED followed by 1 flash of the green LED corresponds to Code 21.
Mode IV-
This mode is used for checking the throttle plate (TP) switch, starter, and vehicle speed switch status. When the TP switch or starter switch is activated, the red LED will briefly flash as the status changes. For VSS status, the green LED will remain off when vehicle speed is less than 12 mph (19 km/h) and come on when vehicle speed is greater than 12 mph (19 km/h).
Mode V-
This mode represents a real-time diagnostic test of the crank angle sensor, ignition signal and the mass airflow signal. The malfunction code will be displayed only when the malfunction occurs and will not be stored in memory. The output code will appear as a single or short string of pulses. Count the number of pulses for the malfunction code.

1 pulse-CMP sensor signal lost or noise in signal 2 pulses-MAF Sensor signal abnormal 3 pulses-Fuel pump circuit shorted or open 4 pulses-Ignition signal lost

I have connected Lantronix UDS1100 Device with Siemens AZL Meters. But not able to get complete data on front end.

The UDS has the following LEDs, which help you diagnose problems.
Power LED (green)
Ethernet 10/100 Link (yellow = 10 Mb/green = 100 Mb)
Ethernet Half/Full Duplex Activity (yellow = Half Duplex/green = Full Duplex)
Diagnostic (red)
Status (green)
Simultaneously lit Diagnostic (red) and Status (green) LEDs mean something is
wrong. If the Diagnostic LED is lit or blinking, count the number of times the Status
LED blinks between its pauses. The following table explains the LED functions:

Help w/ the flashing green light

Good Day;

Cause #1 1. Red status LED, self-diagnosis error 44, check for open F9A06 on the Power PCB part # 283P128050 on the Power PCB 2. Red lamp LED, self diagnosis error 34. Check for 5-volts DC at J-9 connector pin 1 and 2 on the Engine Driver PCB if missing replace the Power PCB part # 930B921002 3. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. This model is equipped with a keyboard lock feature, this can be mistaken as a no power condition. To unlock the keyboard press and hold the "menu" button on the front panel for 10 seconds 4. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. Check for 3.2 volts DC at connector LE pin 3 and 4 on the Control PCB, if low suspect problems with the switches/buttons on the Control PCB part # 935D776001 5. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. Keyboard is not locked and key inputs at connector LE pin 3 and 4 check good. Suspect the E2P PCB part # 934C121001 6. (LED does not stop blinking after plug in) Disconnect the USB connector from the card reader to the front from the Chassis, if the LED stops blinking after 70 seconds replace the Card Reader part # 299P271010. 7. (LED does not stop blinking after plug in) Disconnecting the USB connector from the Card Reader did not help. Remove connector FC from the FMT PCB and plug the unit in, if the LED stops blinking after 70 seconds with FC removed suspect a problem on the FMT PCB (part # 930B924002), if the LED keeps blinking with connector FC removed suspect a problem on the DM PCB (part # 934C116002). 8. (LED does not stop blinking after plug in) On the DM PCB (part # 934C116002) check C81A2, C81A3, C81B3 and C81B4 (1000 UFD, 16V, 105C), if any are bad, replace all of them with part # 181P734030 (680 uFD, 16V, 105C). See Service Tip VS-78A 9. (LED does not stop blinking after plug in) On the FMT PCB (part # 930B924002) check C8F19, C8F21, C8F22, and C8F27 (16V 1000 UFD 105C), if any are bad, replace all of them with part # 181P734030 (680 uFD, 16V, 105C). Good Luck, big IRISH.

Power LED blinks red

it is a bad fan. it also could be a power supply. Quite often the real problem is dirt clogging up the fan(s) to the point that they need to be replaced. Operation of the set in a dirty environment is not a good idea
